African Porcupine Hair

We offer very fine hair and quills from African porcupines. The hair varies in length from about 12" to 18" (30 to 45.5 cm). The hair has been cleaned and sterilized. African porcupine are not endangered. The hair is thicker than that of the North American porcupine. It may or may not work for making roaches in the Native American market. Some people like it and some find it too thick. One customer suggested soaking the hair before tying it to make it softer and more workable, or using smaller bundles.
