We offer elk rawhide in five
different grades from #1 for making drums to #5 for small craft
projects. Elk rawhide is ideal for making drums, lamp shades, and other crafts. The approximate
square footage on a roll of rawhide is 25 sq. ft. An average hide is approximately 6' long by 4' wide.
Rawhide is also referred
to as parchment or vellum. See below for more grading notes and pictures.
