The skin on the left is a typical ivory color sheepskin.
The color swatches on the top are from left to right: Ivory, Champagne, Cream, Dark Beige, Red, Burgundy, Camel, Pewter, Chocolate, Black, Brown Tip, Black Tip.
The color swatches on the bottom are from left to right: Blueberry, Grape, Orange, Green Apple, Pink Lemonade, Cherry.
The Australian sheepskins are soft and luxurious and the skin is clean and supple. The skins average around 6-7 square feet and make delightful rugs to step onto as you get out of bed on a cold winter morning. The pile/hair length is about 2" to 2.5". The ivory skins are natural white color skins (i.e., not bleached). Please see our gallery of Ivory skins below. They are what we refer to as a very nice "creamy white."
Genus and species: Ovis aries. Ranch raised.
The sheepskins are a by-product of the food industry. The sheep were not killed just for their skin.
No export paperwork is required for shipments outside of the United States.
